About me

My name is Roger and I was born in 1987, Amsterdam the Netherlands. I'm a graduate in 'Regional Development & Innovation and currently a pre-master student in 'Sustainable Development'.

I'm interested in photography for several years now and, at the start of 2007, I bought my first DSLR. Since then I'm trying to develop my photography skills more and more every day, exploring both the technical- and creative sides of photography.

Nature is my greatest inspiration and focus, shooting both floral- and faunal life. As macro photography has my interest, I often find myself looking for small details to capture in nature . Since I've been to Costa Rica, though, I developed an interest in travel- and people photography as well, which I hope to explore in the future.

In short, I experience photography as a fun, colorful and interesting hobby which I like to develop more in the future.
